Solstice Labyrinth Walk Wednesday 21st December 2022
(Weather Permitting*) Ladies Beach, near the castle, Ballybunion, Co. Kerry
8 am for up to one hour.
Energy Exchange = Suggested donation** of €10, proceeds to An Cat Dubh Sanctuary
**= Donations are entirely optional. You can donate cash on the day, or any time directly to An Cat Dubh via PayPal. I won’t be asking people if they’ve donated or not but huge thanks if you do, it’s a very worthy cause.
Pre-booking not necessary because of it being a large, open space but try to arrive on time so as not to distract the ceremony and labyrinth walkers – allow time for parking. You are of course very welcome to walk the labyrinth later – low tide is 09:02am.
Potentially challenging location for mobility issues, see photo.
ABOUT THE LABYRINTH
Join me this winter solstice to shed the skin of this past year and be born anew by walking the labyrinth which will be drawn in the sand. Walking the labyrinth is a beautiful ritual that soothes and calms the mind and spirit.
Set the intention of releasing what no longer serves, then, in the centre of the labyrinth, pause and reflect on what you are creating now. Now that you have let go, you are making space for wonderful new things to come in. Wear warm, waterproof clothes.
* = re the weather, if it’s raining, I’ll go ahead unless the rain is very heavy/windy etc.
An Cat Dubh
An Cat Dubh is a no-kill sanctuary located between Ennis and Milltown Malby in Co. Clare – a registered charity RCN 20202488 devoted to the welfare of animals. We receive no government funding and are totally reliant on your kind donations, which may also be made directly to Summerhill vets in Ennis, telephone 065 6828215.
We are always looking for people who would love to provide a kind and fair home for our cats. To adopt a rescue cat, a visit to the sanctuary is necessary. Once a suitable cat is agreed upon you will need to complete a rehoming agreement.
Mission Statement
An Cat Dubh exists to promote kindness, care and understanding of cats and other animals.
An Cat Dubh provides sanctuary and lifelong care to those cats requiring special care or attention due to age or infirmity.
An Cat Dubh provides a ‘Trap, Neuter & Return/Release (TNR)’ service for feral (wild) cats.
An Cat Dubh re-homes cats to assessed ‘forever’ homes.
