Gratitude has a positive effect on our vibration and lifts us out of victimhood and self-pity. On our worst days, if we can find one thing we are grateful for, it can lift us and give us strength. But as a daily practise, there are gratitude apps for smartphones or you can write into a notebook. Recording or stating ten things a day you feel grateful for can have a profound benefit on our life.
It’s a great way, I have found, to end the day. Before you sleep, to list ten things. They might be repetitive and that’s fine. But look also for the small day to day things. The way the wind felt on your skin waking you up, the way somebody was kind to you today.
It’s an easier exercise when we are feeling good than if we judge the day as having been a bad day. If you are not feeling grateful for how your day went, think of the things in your life you appreciate when you focus. The fact that you can read this, that you are breathing.
Our vibration is our personal energy signature and is affected by how we are feeling, how we take care of ourselves, our experiences and practises. So many things are affecting our vibration. Yet we have the choice to raise it higher and we can do this quickly with intention. When you bring in the angels, raising your frequency is much easier. They support us fully in raising our vibration and are always delighted to see us doing so as it benefits everyone.
The higher your vibration, the more light you hold, the higher your consciousness. The easier it is to feel that connection to the angels, Source and your higher self. When people are in a low vibration, their energy feels heavy and dense. They are more likely to be plugged into feelings of jealousy, resentment, fear, anger, judgement, addictions and unhealthy behaviours, shame and so on. When they shift their focus onto gratitude things start to alter quickly in the vibrational frequency.
When we worry about not having enough money, change the focus to things we are grateful for and we are instantly attracting good things rather than perpetuating the experience of ‘not having enough.’ If it is hard in the beginning, try tailing each fear-type thought with a grateful finish. Example thought and gratitude finish:
‘I am so worried about how I’ll afford …….. but so grateful for my garden.’
‘I don’t like the way they speak to me…. but I feel very happy that my car is fixed now.’
It will take some practise and intention, but the benefits are worth it. Try the gratitude list, writing out ten things each night before bed that you feel grateful for. Sometimes it’s as simple as ‘I really enjoyed my lunch.’ Try it for a week and see how it’s working for you. Ask the angels to get involved and help you find things to be grateful for. When you start, it’s amazing how fast more wonderful things are attracted into your life.
